PERMANENT CONTRACTS
Strengths:
~ The longer you stay in the company, the more experience you gain and so the more respect others
have towards you. Newer employees will look up to you as a role model.
~The longer you stay in the company, the less likely you will be fires.
~ More experience is gained and it will show dedication on your resume.
Weakness:
~Over time, you may be putting less effort into your work.
~Having to work for the same company in the same place and country until you retire. Some people may want to travel or try to work in another country so short term employment would probably suit them better.
Opportunities:
~Greater chances of promotion which can lead to an increased salary.
~ You can expand your network and relationship with others.
Threats:
~ If you only specialise in a certain area, then there's no room for development in terms of personal developments and skills.
